Task Information Dialog: General Tab

General Tab if task information is used to define:

- Task start and finish times (low, base, and high)

- Task duration (low, base, and high)

- Task constraints

Entering duration is the best way to schedule the task. If you enter Start Time, the constraint will be set to "Must Start On". You you enter Finish Time the constrain will be set to "Must Finish On". If constraint type is "Start not early than" you would need to define a date, associated with the constraint. 

You may also use this dialog to enter notes for the task.
