RiskyProject version 3.2 – RiskyProject for Microsoft® Project

(Press Release) July 30, 2009 – Intaver Institute Inc. has announced the release of RiskyProject 3.2 that provides users of Microsoft Project a flexible, yet powerful tool to analyze and manage schedule and project risks.

RiskyProject 3.2 for Microsoft Project provides direct integration of RiskyProject’s quantitative and qualitative project risk analysis and management with Microsoft Project. With this latest release, project planners can open their project schedules in Microsoft Project and using the RiskyProject toolbar installed into Project, can quickly assign risks and uncertainties to the schedule, run a Monte Carlo simulation, and view the results of the calculation. Performing risk analysis with Microsoft Project schedules has never been easier or more convenient.  Ken McKinley, business development manager of Intaver Institute Inc believes “the seamless integration between Project’s scheduling and RiskyProject’s  risk analysis and management will provide project managers the easiest and quickest path to understanding and ultimately mitigating the potential effects of risk and uncertainty on their projects.”

New features in this release of RiskyProject Professional 3.2

Seamless integration with Microsoft Project: RiskyProject 3.2 allows for an easy and convenient method of risk analysis of project schedules.  The new version installs a toolbar to Microsoft Project that allows project managers to enter risk and uncertainty, calculate, and analyze the results of Monte Carlo analysis without leaving Microsoft Project. The results of the risk analysis are automatically saved with the project schedule, so the next time the project manager wants to view or update the analysis, this information is instantly available.

Risk Mitigation Waterfall Chart: The risk mitigation waterfall chart that shows the results of risk mitigation efforts during the project. Project managers can report showing initial risk exposure and how subsequent scheduled mitigation efforts will reduce the exposure to specific risks.

Improved Reporting: New Task and Risk Reports provide quick and easy to read reports on data assignment for tasks and risks.

RiskyProject comes in two versions: RiskyProject Professional and RiskyProject Lite. RiskyProject Professional is designed for advanced project planning and scheduling, quantitative risk analysis, project performance measurement. RiskyProject Lite is introductory level project risk management software.
