Modeling Probabilistic Activities in MS Project or RiskyProject
We are going to use branching to simulate the impact of additional activities that will occur if we have a failed test. We would like to maintain this model in MS Project rather than RiskyProject. Problem is that it in MS Project this affects the critical path calculation, do you have any suggestions?

Re: Modeling Probabilistic Activities in MS Project or RiskyProject
If you would like to maintain the branching structure in MS Project. We recommend using the Active/Inactive Task feature.
To inactivate a task(s):
Once you have created your schedule in MS Project, select the branch that you do not want to be on the critical path.
On the Tasks tab, click Inactivate. Inactive tasks will appear as "Task Name" (strikethrough) and Gantt bar will be transparent.

When you import the schedule to RiskyProject, the Inactive tasks will appear as normal tasks and you can then model your probabilistic or conditional branching.
