Defining Distributions without using the dialog.

Can I define distribution type using grid in task view or I need always use distribution tab?

Yes. In the Project View add the column “Statistical Distribution for Duration”. This displays the distribution type currently assigned to your tasks. If a task does not currently have a distribution assigned it will display “Undefined”. You can assign a statistical distribution, by clicking in the cell and choosing a distribution from the drop-down list.
