Issues when running RiskyProject on a Virtual Machine

Our users are having issues using RiskyProject on a virtual machine. There are issues with the UI with menus or dialogs and input data being overwritten. Do you know what might be causing this?

There can be three types of issues with virtual machines or any other remote desktop connection:
1. Performance of the virtual machine is insufficient. This is seen when elements of interface don't refresh properly, calculation is very slow, there is a delay in response to keyboard entry or button clicks. We have found that VMs with lower end performance can cause these issues and resolved when we went to higher performance VMs. The tradeoff is that the higher performance VMs cost more to run.
2. Communication with the server is slow. In such case refresh of RiskyProject desktop window and dialogs are slow.
3. Database communication is slow. It is possible to edit project schedule without any problems, but when project schedule is saved into the database, there is a delay.
