How do I import my risk register from Excel to RiskyProject Enterprise?

RiskyProject provides an easy to use mapping process to link Excel spreadsheet data to risk properties in the RiskyProject Risk Register
You can import the complete risk register from Microsoft Excel. To do so, you need to map Excel fields to RiskyProject fields.
1. Add, delete, or modify the default properties in RiskyProject to duplicate the columns in the Excel spreadsheet.
2. Modify the Risk Register view by adding, modifying, or hiding columns so that it replicates the Excel spreadsheet
3. On the File menu, click Import > Risks from Excel.
4. Follow the prompts to open the Excel spreadsheet.
5. Using the supplied mapping dialog, link the risk properties to the Excel spreadsheet columns that they represent.

Is it possible to import risks to desktop version of RiskyProject professional?

Yes. Importing risks from Excel work the same way in RiskyProject Enterprise and RiskyProject not connected to the database. The only difference the imported risks will be saved in ALM file, not in database.

Here is another important note. Some our clients ask us if Excel spreadsheet needs to be formatted any specific way to be imported to RiskyProject. The only requirement is Risk Register spreadsheet will need to have each risk as a row and risk properties, including risk names, probability and impacts, and other properties as columns.
