Links to external activites

Normally our projects are going to have links to an external master project. Currently, when performing risk analysis, we remove this links manually and insert a nomincal task that has similar start and finish dates.
When I import our projects into RiskyProject the links do not even appear. Is there a workaround this?

In RiskyProject 3.2 there external links are ignored, this is due to the limitations of the MS project xml or the mpx formats that we use to read in project schedules.

We are currently developing a solution for this that will be incorporated into version 4. This will read the external link data, but will not read in the lnk data as a whole, rather the external dates will be handled using constraints.
