Project priorities affect integrated (cumulative) risk impact for multiple projects. Each project has its own risk register. The same risks can be assigned to multiple projects with their probabilities and impacts. For example risk “Delay with delivery of component” can be assigned to project1 and project2. The cumulative impact of this risk on the portfolio will be calculated as a sum impact on each particular project multiplied on project priority. If priority of project1 is 0.2 and priority of project2 is 1, it mean that cumulative impact of the risk “Delay with delivery of component” on portfolio will be equal sum of 100% risk impact on project2 and 20% risk impact on project1.
