Unique Task IDs After Import from Primavera P6

Post by KerryMiller » Wed Apr 22, 2020 4:40 pm

RiskyProject doesn’t seem to bring over the unique Activity IDs that we have in Primavera P6. We have this problem using both XML import and Primaveta XER import.

Unique Task IDs should be including with the file using the "Unique Task ID" field. Here is a snip from an XER file.: MS Project also has UIDs. We have used them extensively when rendering Master Projects.

To view unique task:

1. In any Task view, such as schedule, right click on the column.
2. Select Insert Column...
3. Select "Unique Task ID" from drop down list
