Basically, RiskyProject Lite does not present statistical distribution. You also cannot define input statistical distributions. We found that many our potential clients have difficulties with distributions.

Uncertainties in RiskyProject Lite are defined using ranges of duration, cost, lag, or using events. Statistical distributions are generated inside by default and not presented to the users. Results of the analysis are presented as Project Dashboard 3x3:

1. Three most important project parameters (project duration, cost, finish time) with and without risks.
2. Three crucial tasks (as a result of sensitivity analysis)
3. Three critical risks

RiskyProject Professional has also other additional features: risky templates, success rate Gantt chart, critical tasks Gantt chart, etc.

What about how they integrate with other project management software, such as MS Project.

When choosing between the Lite and Professional versions, it is best to understand how you will be using it and what outputs are required.

As both versions include the MSP Addin, RiskyProject Lite is appropriate if:
You are only running simulations using the Addin
You only using 3pt estimates (Duration or Cost) for basic analysis, such Histograms, Cumulative Probability, and senstivity to Finish Time

If you require additional risk modeling capabiilites and reporting, then we always recommend the Professional version. The additional cost is more than offset by the additional value that the Professional version offers.
