How can I import mitigation plans from an excel spreadsheet?

To import mitigation plans or actions for risks from and Excel sheet you must designate a property as mitigation activity.

You can do this in the Default Risk Properties dialog box when you create a new property.



When you import risks from the Excel spreadsheet, link the Mitigation Action property to the column in the Excel spreadsheet containing the mitigation activities. The activities will be added to the risk register, but also to the Mitigation/ Response View and will be linked to the risk they were assigned to in the spreadsheet.
