Re: Exporting the results of simulation as XML has discrepancies

One of the reasons why you may experience discrepancies between the results you see in RiskyProject and when you open the xml file in Microsoft Project is that when you export results as a percentile it does not calculate the critical path prior to the export. It is only an export of the raw simulat...

Re: Cost/Benefit Analysis

With the release of version 7, the decision tree integration has been removed. However, you can still perform a similar analysis using multiple baselines. Re: RiskyProject Lite and Professional versions

When choosing between the Lite and Professional versions, it is best to understand how you will be using it and what outputs are required. As both versions include the MSP Addin, RiskyProject Lite is appropriate if: You are only running simulations using the Addin You only using 3pt estimates (Durat...

Re: Using XML files from Primavera P6

You do not require to have MSP installed to import the xml file. In 2015, we had a discussion with the Primavera/Oracle consultants and they recommended the MSP xml as the most robust integration format. We did have some clients who had success and some like to use XER, which is why we added to supp...

Re: Number of Projects in RiskyProject Enterprise

If you use SQL Server express there is a limit of total database size. SQL Server Express does not support databases larger than 10 GB. It means that you may experience limits on documents attached to risks, as well as very large schedules.

You can export deterministic project schedule or result of risk analysis associated with certain percentile. 2. Use Excel Export then I...

Re: Unique Task IDs After Import from Primavera P6

Unique Task IDs should be including with the file using the "Unique Task ID" field. Here is a snip from an XER file.: MS Project also has UIDs. We have used them extensively when rendering Master Projects. To view unique task: 1. In any Task view, such as schedule, right click on the column. 2. Sele...
