DCMA Check #3: Lags

This check calculates the percent of links (predecessors) that have a positive lag. Both deterministic and probabilistic analysis can be distorted if the schedule has positive lags. These leads should be avoided. Sometimes lags represents an activity. In such case it is recommended to use a task rather than lag

Percent of predecessor relationships that have a positive lag should be less 5%

Comments

Double click on the message "Positive Lag" within the list of task issues (the list at the top of Diagnostics dialog box) to see the tasks with the lags.
