DCMA Check #6: High Float

This check calculates percentage of Incomplete Tasks with High Float. High Float sometimes is called Total Slack. High Float is considered to be greater than 2 months (44 working days). Such High Float can be result of constraints or/and missing relationships between predecessors and successors.

Target

Percent of incomplete tasks with high float should not exceed 5%

Comments

Using list of task issues (the list at the top of Diagnostics dialog box) you can find tasks with High Float. You can also configure High Float to any number of working days by clicking on Configure button. However this setting affects only list of task issues. DCMA test is always based on 44 working days.
