DCMA Check #13: Critical Path Length Index (CPLI)

Critical Path Length Index (CPLI) assesses the integrity of the schedule network logic and the realism of finishing by the project Baseline Finish date

  1. Critical Path Length is the duration (in working days) between the Project Status Date and the Baseline Finish of a selected Completion Task or Milestone
  2. Total Float is the float on the selected Completion Task or Milestone when it is constrained to Finish No Later Than it’s Baseline Finish date

Target

Critical Path Length Index (CPLI) greater than 95%.

Comments

Critical Path Length Index test requires the Completion Task or Milestone to be selected by right click on test ID and clicking on Milestone for DCMA-13 CPLI. Then the Completion Task or Milestone can be selected from the list.
