Task Information Dialog: General Tab

General Tab if task information is used to define:

• Task start and finish times (low, base, and high)
• Task duration (low, base, and high)
• Task constraints

Entering duration is the best way to schedule the task. If you enter Start Time, the constraint will be set to "Must Start On". If you enter a Finish Time the constraint will be set to "Must Finish On". If constraint type is "Start not early than" you would need to define a date, associated with the constraint.
