Windows 8 installation fails, lack of permissions to folders

If the installation is interuppted, this could be caused by the UAC when the user account does not have sufficient permission to either the user Temp folder (C:\Windows\Temp) or the folder to which you have downloaded the install.

It appears that you may have to explicit give your user account permission to these folders. Being a part of the Administration group with permissions apparently is not sufficient in some cases.
To do this you need to right-click on the folders, click Properties > Security and give your user full permissions to the folder.
The other suggestion is that it could be being interrupted by your antivirus software. If the settings are too high it can interrupt the installation as well.
