We plan to release RiskyProject version 3 last quarter 2007 - first quarter 2008. The version will include the following features:
1. Project management with risk and uncertainties using Critical Chain (CCPM).
2. Probabilistic calendars for projects and each resources
3. Probabilistic resource allocation and resource leveling
4. Improved integration with Microsoft Project, MindJet's MindManager and other project management software.
5. Improved user interface: different sets of input tables for each view.
6. Improved probabilistic and conditional branching

RiskyProject will have an additional Critical Chain View in Tracking tab. Critical Chain View will present two charts:
1. Size of project buffer versus time. It is a standard chart used in Critical Chain method. Please note that the buffer size is probabilistic.
2. Chance of project meeting the deadline. This chart is specific for RiskyProject implementation of Critical Chain.

Do I need to have RiskyProject to use RiskyPortfolio or it is a completely separate application?

RiskyProject 3 will be used as a client for RiskyPortfolio. If you already have a RiskyProject and wish to use RiskyPortfolio, you may purchase a portfolio component and upgrade RiskyProject to version 3.

We did not determine a price for RiskyPortfolio yet. Please note that RiskyPortfolio is an enterprise level tool. It can be used to select, analyze and manage multiple projects at the same time.
