Monte Carlo simulation performance
As part of our project reporting, we have to provide schedule risk analysis on a monthly basis. Currently, the master schedule is over 10000 tasks and is resource loaded. We use the MS Project addin to export the xml to RiskyProject and the size of file now is over GB and is maxing out the computers...

Cost accrual for risk analysis
We have just started a new process and are doing some integrated cost and schedule risk analysis. Some of the results we were seeing for costs in the Cash flow view looked odd until we noticed that the cost allocation was set for the end of the activities. We had to manually go in and reset them all...

Statistical distribution for duration
As part of our Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis, as a first draft we are not yet requiring our team members to provide estimates for low and high duration. We want to import our schedule from Microsoft Project and quickly add uncertainties to all of the activities. I seem to remember that you can ...

I have a risk which has two alternatives:
- increase duration on 10% - 5% chance
- increase duration on 30% - 1% chance
do these alternatives have the seed?

Project Decision Analysis
PMBOK Chapter 11 talks about using decision trees for project management and I noticed that you say that RiskyProject can convert my project schedules into a decision tree. How does it work?
