Schedule Diagnostics Based on DCMA 14 Point Assessment

DCMA Point Assessments includes the following tests

• DCMA 1: Logic
• DCMA 2: Leads
• DCMA 3: Lags
• DCMA 4: Relationships
• DCMA 5: Hard Constraints
• DCMA 6: High Float
• DCMA 7: Negative Float
• DCMA 8: High Duration
• DCMA 9A: Invalid Forecast Dates
• DCMA 9B: Invalid Actual Dates
• DCMA 10: Resources
• DCMA 11: Missed Tasks
• DCMA 12: Critical Path
• DCMA 13: Critical Path Length Index (CPLI)
• DCMA 14: Baseline Execution Index (BEI)

DCMA 14 point Schedule Assessment is performed automatically when you click on Schedule Diagnostics. For some tests, additional settings are required:

• For DCMA-6, DCMA-7, DCMA-12, you may need to enable critical path calculation: in File > Options, go to Calculation tab and select Calculate Critical Path.
• For DCMA-9, you may need to define project status date. File > Options > Calendar tab.
• DCMA-12 can run slow on large schedules. It is possible to enable/disable DCMA-12 test using a checkbox in Welcome to Schedule Diagnostics dialog.
• For DCMA-13, right-click on row ID and click on Milestone for DCMA 13-CPLI and then select milestone which is required for this test.

• You can double-click on each DCMA test and view detailed information about particular metric as part of RiskyProject Help System. To view Help you must be connected to Internet.
• You can copy test results to clipboard: right-click on row ID and click on Copy.
• You can see issues associated with DCMA tests within list of issues (top list box) by clicking on the particular DCMA test.
