Re-Assigning risks using the Risk Assignment view

This is the recommended method to re-assign risks to different task and resources or make them global.

To reassign risks:

1. On the Risks tab, click the Risk Assignment view.
2. Double-click on a risk assignment; the Risk Assignment Information dialog opens
3. Select either global risk (for all tasks or resources) or local risk (for particular tasks or resources)
4. For Local risks, select Task or Resource
5. For Local risks, select tasks or resources from the list box.

Notes:

• If a risk has multiple alternatives, you may need to re-assign all alternatives
• You can disable Global risks for specific tasks. To disable a global risk for a specific tasks, open the Task Information dialog box, Risks tab and clear Apply global risks to this task checkbox.
