Creating Mitigation Summary and Subplans

Mitigation plans can be Summary pans with associated Subplans. This can be very useful if your mitigation plans have several activities or steps that have distinct costs and outcomes that you want to monitor separately.

Summary plans have names only and do not have Plan Type, Outcome Type etc. Summary and subplans are defined using the Indent and Outdent commands similar to Summary and Subtasks on the Gantt Chart.

To create a subplan:

1. Enter a name for the Summary plan.
2. Click the row below the plan.
3. Enter a name for the plan.
4. Right-click on the plan and on the shortcut menu click Indent. The plan now becomes a subplan of the mitigation plan.
5. Enter information for the Subplan.
