Define Tasks and Subtasks
Summary tasks represent groups of tasks (subtasks) that can be logically grouped together under a larger task. In large projects with many tasks, this is a useful method of organizing your tasks.
To define summary tasks and subtasks:
1. Create a task directly above the tasks that you want to group under it. This will become the Summary Task.
2. Select the tasks that you want to be the subtasks of the summary task you created in step 1.
3. Click the Indent button located on the Tasks toolbar. The tasks are automatically moved to the right as Risky Project recognizes them as subtasks of the summary task. If you want to move at task out from under the summary task, select the task and click the Outdent use Indent and Outdent toolbar buttons or right-click on items ID number and choose Indent or Outdent from the shortcut menu. After you click on the Indent or Outdent buttons, the project schedule is automatically recalculated.
